Basil

Ocimun basilicum L. (Avg. 27 °C / 80 °F) 

Our Basil has a sweet and aromatic scent with a faint anise-like taste.

Originally from the tropical regions of Central Africa and Southeast Asia, it grows beautifully in warm humid climates.

Its leaves are glossy and oval-shaped. In good conditions, this plant can grow up to 60cm or 24in.

Bay Leaves

Laurus nobilis (Avg. 22,5 °C / 72,5 °F)

Also called Laurel Leaf. Our Bay Leaves have a slightly floral aroma and a vibrant taste.

Native to the Mediterranean regions of southern Europe, laurel leaves come from the sweet bay tree. In Ancient Rome this herb used to be a symbol of power, glory, and fame.

Bay Leaves are lustrous and strong. This evergreen tree can grow up to 10m or 32ft in height.

Chives

Allium schoenoprasum (Avg. 16 °C / 60 °F)

This herb is the smallest of all edible onions. Our Chives have a flavorsome yet mild onion-like taste.

Naturally found in temperate regions around Asia, Europe, and America, it’s believed to be originally from Northern Europe. In the Middle Ages, they were used as a way to keep away bad spirits.

Chives leaves are thin and pointy. This herb can grow up to 50cm or 20in. 

Mint

Mentha Spicata (Avg. 17 °C / 63 °F)

Our Mint has a distinct aroma, sweet flavor, and cooling aftertaste.

Mint has over 20 varieties that change slightly in shape and overall flavor. Mentha Spicata also known as Spearmint is one of the most widely used varieties for both culinary and medicinal purposes.

Mint leaves are a deep shade of green with serrated borders. This herb can grow up to 120cm or 47in.

Coriander

Coriandrum sativum  (Avg. 20 °C / 68 °F)

Also known as Cilantro. Our Coriander is a potent herb with citrus overtones.

Native to Northern Africa and Southern Europe. All parts of the Coriander plant are edible, however, the most commonly eaten parts are the leaves and seeds. 

Cilantro leaves are delicate and potent in flavor. This herb can grow up to 60cm or 24in.

Dill

Anethum graveolens (Avg. 21 °C / 70 °F)

Our Dill has a sweet and mildly sour aftertaste.

Dill is native to the Eurasia region, and it has been used for thousands of years. Some of the oldest records of Dill date back to 1400 BC on the tomb of Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep II.

Dill leaves are extremely thin and feathery, its stems are long with many small individual leaves, each leaf is approximately 1-2mm. This plant can grow up to 60cm or 24in.

Marjoram

Origanum majorana (Avg. 16 °C / 60 °F)

Our Marjoram has floral, citrusy, and woody flavors. This herb is a milder alternative from the Oregano family. 

Originally from the Eastern Mediterranean region, Marjoram has been widely known and used since the ancient Greek and Roman eras.

Marjoram is a small and semi-woody shrub, its leaves are small, round, and very soft due to the presence of tiny hair-like filaments. This plant can grow up to 40cm or 16in.

Chervil

Anthriscus cerefolium   (Avg. 14 °C / 57 °F)

Our Chervil is a delicate alternative to parsley with a faint licorice flavor. 

Also known as French Parsley, is originally from the Caucasus region near the Black Sea. Its name derives from the ancient Greek hairephyllon, meaning "leaves of joy".

Chervil leaves are delicate and ornamental, and it’s part of the French fine herbs. This herb can grow up to 70 cm or 28 in.

Oregano

Origanum vulgare (Avg. 23 °C / 73 °F)

Our Oregano it's characterized for its rich and flavorful taste. 

This Mediterranean herb has become famous worldwide, particularly for its use in Italian and Spanish cuisine. The name Oregano is a Spanish word derived from classical greek orī́ganon meaning  "brightness of the mountain".

Oregano leaves are small and oval-shaped. This plant can reach up to 45cm or 18in height.

Rosemary

Rosmarinus officinalis  (Avg. 25 °C / 77 °F)

Our Rosemary is fragrant, earthy, and evergreen. 

Rosemary is native to the Mediterranean region. Some of the oldest records of this plant date back to Egyptian burial rituals. This plant is extremely aromatic and is commonly used as a culinary herb as well as an ingredient in fragrance and other cosmetic products. 

Rosemary is a shrub with small needle-like leaves attached to a woody stem. This plant can grow to 2m or 6,5ft, and live for up to 30 years.

Sage

Salvia officinalis (Avg. 18 °C / 65 °F)

Our Sage has a prominent herbal flavor and floral scent. 

Native to the Mediterranean region. Sage is one of the essential herbs of European cuisine and traditional medicine. It also used a decorative garden plant. 

Sage leaves are soft and pale green. This plant can grow up to 80cm or 30in. 

Savory

Satureja Montana (Avg. 17 °C / 62 °F)

Our savory has a slightly peppery taste and a sweet-spicy aroma. 

Native to the Eastern Mediterranean Region and Northern Africa. Savory is a culinary and medicinal herb naturalized as well in Britain. 

Savory has long and lanceolate leaves. This small herb can grow up to 40cm or 15in.

Sorrel

Rumex acetosa (Avg. 17 °C / 62 °F)

Our Sorrel has an acidic taste and citrusy smell evocative of lemon zest. 

Sorrel is naturally found in Northern Scandinavia and Central Asia. This plant is grown as a leafy vegetable throughout Europe. 

Sorrel leaves are wide and held by a thin stem. This plant can grow up to 70cm or 27in.

Tarragon

Artemisia dracunculus (Avg. 17 °C / 62 °F)

Also called Estragon. Our sweet-scented Tarragon has a slight tang and piquant taste. 

Native to Southern Europe. Tarragon is a staple in multiple European cuisines, each country grows its own variety of the herb, giving its name according to the country, we can find varieties such as “French Tarragon” or “Russian Tarragon”. 

Tarragon leaves are long and lanceolate with a strong flavor and aroma. This herb grows up to 150cm or 59in. 

Thyme

Thymus vulgaris (Avg. 25 °C / 77 °F)

Our Thyme is packed with floral fragrance and earthy flavor. 

Thyme is native to the Mediterranean region. Ancient Greeks used to use it as incense or in medicinal baths, it was believed that this plant could provide courage.

Thyme leaves are very small and oval-shaped, held to a thin and woody stem, this herb is commonly used in bundles. This herb grows up to 40cm or 16in.
